Research Notes
Name: Griffith, Gruffydd, and Gruffud, and Gruffudd are variations of the same name. None of the Cymru or Wales project pages mentioned which to use, although the Wales project had a link to Behind the Name, which showed variants of Gruffudd. The Welsh Patronymic Naming Guidelines state to use the Welsh spelling, ferch (for daughter of), and include it in the LNAB field.
